Not at all. Most of the families we serve are everyday Canadians. Rather than fitting into an industry template that you may or may not qualify for, our plan building process is designed to fit your situation and goals.
We offer your initial review and strategy session at no charge. If you choose to implement any recommendations, the cost is usually covered by the product providers we work with, not directly out of your pocket.
No catch, just honest feedback about what's possible with your situation. We would rather be paid on the implementation of something that is meaningful when the time is right than to charge for general education that may or may not be utilized.
If any of our agents see that as a waste of time, it won't be long before they will need to find a different team to work with. Our core values are rooted in education, not sales readiness. If you are not ready to implement a plan, having one built can still provide a lot of peace of mind. We may not get paid, but it is the right thing to do and we know it will come back around in a positive way for you and the agent.
Then you’re in the right place. We understand that this information should be taught in school and hold no judgement towards those who have yet to learn all things finance. Our job is to simplify the industry, using plain language and clear visuals so you can make confident, informed decisions about your future.
This is completely normal. We understand that life happens and that the 9 to 5 system wasn't designed for regular people to become debt free and financially independent. We’re here to change that and to help you move forward without guilt, shame or pressure.
You may be one of the few who doesn't need an advisor, but a free second opinion wouldn't hurt. A good financial plan goes beyond fixing problems. It identifies efficiencies (i.e. paying less tax, building wealth faster, or avoiding mistakes before they happen) that could make a good situation great.
Getting a second opinion is never a waste of time as it can uncover blind spots or better options. Just like you'd get a second opinion on a major medical decision, it’s smart to do the same with your finances, especially since there is no cost to a review. Worst case? We confirm you’re on track. Best case? We help you improve your results.
The best financial plans usually have multiple solutions within them. For example, you can apply for life insurance while you also set up your long-term retirement strategy. You can discuss how to save for your child’s college fund while learning about business strategies if you are a small business owner. Et cetera, et cetera.
Absolutely. One of the most important roles in the agent-client relationship is to remain in regular contact about the initial plan to ensure adjustments are made as required.
